Sandra Lord Thomas is the operating manager of a local investment group which capitalizes on current trends in areas such as real estate, venture capitalism, and business acquisition. As a Realtor, she focuses on real estate investment opportunities for all types of investors. Thomas holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Leadership with a cognate in Public Policy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Her Masters in Education and Bachelors Degree in Communications are both from Southern Utah University (SUU).

Before moving to Mohave County over 12 years ago, Thomas served as Southern Utah University’s Director of School Relations for seven years. During that time she was responsible for all enrollment management processes including recruitment, marketing, and public relations. She now serves as a member of SUU’s National Alumni Board. Thomas also served as a Director of the Utah’s Governor’s Honors Academy, working closely with former governors and diplomatic leaders of Utah.

Along with her investment management duties, Thomas is a senior facilitator for Strategic Planning Seminars. As a facilitator, she researches and evaluates all types of organizations, then identifies primary strategic planning processes to advance organizational directions, optimize future potentials, and improve organizational relationships.

Thomas is an active member of the National Association of Realtors, the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE), American Association for Higher Education (AAHE), and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

In her personal world, Thomas is an avid photographer, writer, reader and runner. She loves to spend time with her family and tries to live up to a recent comment made by her 17 year old son, “Mom, you rock!”
