Peggy is a former long time Public Assistant Caseworker II from the Department of Economic Security, she transferred to the Arizona Department of Corrections, Health Administration Services. Peggy comes to Mohave County from nearly a life time in Navajo County, Winslow AZ. She also worked in the medical field in Winslow and at Northland Pioneer Community College for the Coordinator of Counseling. She is the original owner and creator of Winslow Communications. The only tone and voice paging system used by railroad employees and others who were on call in the Winslow area. After five years of extreme success, and advance knowledge of the coming cell phone business, she sold her business, and continued to work in Public Assistance.
Peggy is well known in Winslow for her Volunteer work in the community. She was the Director of Jr. Volunteer Services at Winslow Memorial Hospital. Peggy was asked by the Winslow Chamber of Commerce to direct the line up of the Annual Winslow Christmas Parade and did volunteer to do so. She successfully completed the task for five years with her team of volunteers. The Annual Winslow Christmas Parade is the Largest Christmas Parade in Northern Arizona. She worked with the Arizona Cactus-Pine Girl Scouts for three years, and volunteered in fund raising events from the National Honor Society to local projects that needed matching funds for Federal grant money.
Peggy is known in Winslow as the person you go to for help, She served DES as the Fair Hearings Officer for five years, representing the State of Arizona in Hearings with an Administrative Law Judge. To this day she still helps citizens every where obtain disability benefits they are qualified for. She enjoys helping a person or a group of persons that just don’t know where to get help, if she can do it she will do it herself, if not, she knows how to get it done. Peggy is a very well trained and experienced public speaker, a trained conflict resolution employee. She is ethical and moral. She has a large amount of experience with new subdivisions, directing problem solving and fixing problems herself when somethings just go wrong.
