Walmart officials plan to hold a grand opening at the store at 5210 Highway 95 at 7:30 A.M.. The event will begin at 7 A.M.. with performances by the Fort Mojave Indian Tribal Band and Bird Singers.
The 155,000-square-foot store is scheduled to be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and, in addition to groceries and general merchandise, will include a full pharmacy, a fuel station and convenience store, a Tire & Lube Express and free in-store pickup service on items ordered at Walmart.com.
“We’re excited to be part of the Fort Mohave community and to bring convenience and everyday low prices on groceries and a wide assortment of merchandise to this area,” said Paul Perkins, store manager. “Local residents will now be able to get everything they need without driving to another town. When we open our doors, we’ll be stocked with everything needed for back to school, from apparel and backpacks to classroom supplies and healthy snacks.”
According to a company press release, the Fort Mohave Supercenter is a full grocery store with fresh produce, meat, pantry staples and more. In addition to organics and nutritious food choices, customers can find a full-service deli and an in-store bakery. The store also will offer gluten-free products and an expanded Hispanic selection.
The store is stocked with electronics, furniture, automotive, sporting goods, home improvement, apparel, toys and more. Like all Walmart stores, the Fort Mohave store will feature Walmart Pickup, free store pickup service offering free shipping from Walmart.com on eligible items. Many items are available for pickup the same day.
