Parks and Recreation commissioners will hear three presentations during today’s regularly scheduled meeting.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at the City Council Chamber, 1255 Marina Blvd.

Lynn Solomon will present to commissioners information on a life jacket loaner program, and Olivia McCormick will update commission members on Gary Keith Civic Center Park, a community-driven project to create a 22-acre park with an amphitheater, a flag park with picnic tables, ramadas and walking paths, as well as lighting, paved parking and restrooms on the west side of Highway 95 from Marina Boulevard north to Mohave High School.

Dan Oehler will offer commissioners a progress report on the Rotary Park entry project.

The recreation manager also will provide a programs update, as well as information about upcoming events.

The meeting is open to the public and broadcast live on TV4.
